I'm now in my late forties and I've been single for some time, more or less. My job has been quite prohibitive to having a decent social life, but that has recently changed. I'm now looking towards the future and hoping that I can find that special someone to share it with. I'm passionate about outdoor pursuits, including skiing, snowboarding, canoeing, kayaking, all kinds of cycling, motorcycling, caravaning, camping, hiking, mountaineering and scuba diving. Sadly many of the above have been put on the back burner in recent years, but I long to get back to them. I still ski every year. That's not negotiable.
I'm looking for a lady who appreciates the things that I do, and would potentially like to be part of that. She should also like the usual stuff, going out for meals, staying in with a movie, etc, etc. I do need to point out that I do still work night shifts, including some weekends, but the shift pattern I now work gives me a considerable amount of rest days every week. My shifts do require a certain amount of patience and understanding from a potential partner, as I have found this to be a problem in the past.
